Keyboard Shortcut keys for Windows 7 - Awesome Computer tips

• Right Shift for eight seconds – Turn Filter Keys on and off
• Left Alt+left Shift+PRINTSCREEN (or PRTSCRN) – Turn High Contrast on or off
• Left Alt+left Shift+NUMLOCK – Turn Mouse Keys on or off
• Shift five times – Turn Sticky Keys on or off
• NUMLOCK for five seconds – Open the Ease of Access Center
• Win + U – Cycle through all open Windows

Windows Explorer

• Alt + Leftdow – Go back
• Alt + Right – Go forward
• Alt + Up – Go up a directory
• Alt + Enter – Open the Properties Window of the current selection
• Alt + Spacebar – Open the shortcut menu for the active Window
• Alt + F4 – Close the active Window
• Alt + Tab – Switch to previous active Window
• Alt + Esc – Cycle through all open Windows
• Alt + D – Move focus to address bar
• Alt + P – Show/hide the preview panel
• Ctrl + N – Open a new Window
• Ctrl + Mousewheel – Change the view type (extra large, small, list view, detail, etc.)
• NUMLOCK + Asterisk (*) on numeric keypad – Display all subfolders under the selected folder
• NUMLOCK + Plus Sign (+) on numeric keypad – Display the contents of the selected folder
• NUMLOCK + Minus Sign (+) on numeric keypad – Collapse the selected folder

Taskbar Modifiers 

• Shift + Click on icon – Open a new instance
• Middle click on icon – Open a new instance
• Ctrl + Shift + Click on icon – Open a new instance with Admin privileges

Dialog Box

• Ctrl + Tab – Move forward through tabs
• Ctrl + Shift + Tab – Move back through tabs
• Shift + Tab – Move back through options
• Tab – Move forward through options
• Alt + underlined letter – Perform the command (or select the option) that goes with that letter
• Enter – Replaces clicking the mouse for many selected commands
• Spacebar – Select or clear the check box if the active option is a check box
• Arrow Keys – Select a button if the active option is a group of option buttons
• BackSpace – Open a folder one level up if a folder is selected in the Save As or Open dialog box

I was thinking of the time saving tips and tricks on the use of computer and found that, proper use of computer shortcuts on your windows 7, 8, 10 or whatever it is can lead to great productivity and less disturbance by saving the time through the use of combination of keystrokes on your computer's keyboard.

Keyboard Shortcuts for App rearranging:

If you are using Metro screen, then the shortcuts below can operate suitably according to your needs as illustrated below.

You'll have to Pressing down the windows key to enter the arrange mode, then take a time to rearrange the apps and finally release the window key.

Press the below key simultaneously:
• Win + . [To Enter Rearrange mode and select apps or dividers across monitors]
• Win + LEFT ARROW [This will Move the app divider to the left]
• Win + RIGHT ARROW [App divider will move to the right]
• Win + UP ARROW [This Maximize the app]
• Win + DOWN ARROW [App get closed on doing this]
• Win + ESC [Exits the mode of rearranging the Apps]

Slide the switch to "Off"

Press the Sleep/Wake button and the Volume Down buttons simultaneously. ( you may repeat this procedure for number of times until you do it right)

Hold the buttons for about seven seconds.

How To Reset An iPod Touch

The easiest solution to restart your iPad touch is by trying nor to use iTunes. Lets see this first one now,
When your iPod is on, hold the sleep button on top of your device until the red Power Off Slider appears and slide it off, the screen will  turn black. After that, hold hold the wake/sleep button for few seconds until the black iPod's screen turns On.  

It sometimes occurs that one solution fails to work depending on the models of iPod Touch. But here, we are not running out of tricks and alternative solutions to fix the problems. Below is another troubleshooting method for resetting your iPod. 

Restore Your iPod Touch
